Given social distancing and the vast majority of restaurants keeping dining rooms closed for safety reasons, Mother’s Day certainly looks a little different this year. However, there are still many options for celebrations for Sunday, May 10, including gifts of chocolate, cheese, and desserts, as well as to-go brunches with the requisite mimosas.
Many Austin restaurants are also participating in the virtual Mother’s Weekend Brunch on both May 9 and 10, which includes a small gift from the restaurant (think: a chocolate bar, flowers) and coloring card from a local artist.
