Available at: Red Envelope.
What I think: Leave it to Red Envelope to find fantastic, interesting and unusual gifts that don't cost an arm or a leg.I'm home-bound today because of the snow storm that's blanketing our area - and loving every minute! I leisurely read the paper, knowing I had the whole day to work, cook or whatever. Then I decided to go out and shovel and ended up at Claudia's house next door for
some chit-chat after we both finished clearing our walks.
Just as I sat down to do some work, suddenly my leisurely day was replaced with sheer panic. Somehow I had spaced out that Valentine's Day is this weekend! My husband and I really don't do lots of presents during the year, but we like Valentine's Day. So we always manage for find something small, but interesting for each other.
As I sat here wondering what I could do, I thought of Red Envelope.Bingo! If you're in the same
pickle I was, you might want to know about a couple of their gift ideas I think are pretty fantastic.
Trycupcakes, for example - 4 chocolate, 4 vanilla bean, and 4 red velvet - all 12 for only $39.95. Here's a bit of their mouth-watering description: "Red Velvet cupcakes are made with an all natural deep red cake with a creamy chocolate truffle center and cream cheese buttermilk fluff frosting." And that's just one variety! All three sound positively luscious.
I just placed my order - knowing I'd get to share. But I almost went for their Chocolate Covered Oreos. What an idea! If you're into more traditional stuff, Red Envelope has loads offlower arrangements - many of which can be delivered on Sunday, Valentine's Day.
And surprise of surprises. Type in "Save 10" at check-out and get a 10% savings!
Thank you, Red Envelope. Now I can go back to enjoying my play-hooky snow day.
